We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of our tax office, ensuring smooth operations and excellent client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, respond to text messages and emails
- Manage the office calendar
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing client documents and filing paperwork
- Data entry to maintain client databases
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office space
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or relevant experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a tax or accounting office setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and grammar
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak tax season
- Spanish is a plus
- Willing to teach the right candidate
