Assembler Level II

In need of a Level II Assembler for the PM shift.

The shift hours are:

Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am, possible OT Fridays

Qualifications:

Requires minimal supervision or guidance.

Must be able to follow directions.

Must be able to assemble parts consistently at various workstations.

Must be proficient in assembly of least 70% of the production line being worked on.

Assist in training new employees.

Technical and practical experience of the following:

Hydraulic systems.

Diesel engines.

Low voltage electrical systems.

Mechanical assembly of heavy industrial equipment.

Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics is required.

Skills required for this position:

Hands on experience of using hand and power tools.

Forklift experience preferred but not essential.

Crane experience preferred but not essential.

Basic knowledge of engineering drawings.

Knowledge/Experience of scissor and/or boom lift operation.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing for extended periods of time, lifting of heavy objects on a regular basis and repetitive

tasks. Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive movements. Bending over or

twisting of the body. Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.

Must be able to work well as part of a team, safely and professionally.
