Financial Services Company looking for a responsible part-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical task. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. This is an in person, on site position.

Responsibilities

-Correspond with internal wholesalers

-General office duties

-Transcribing

-Annuity Order Entry

-Maintain and update filing system

-Client/Prospect management

-Answer and direct phone calls

-Prioritize incoming mail

-Organize and schedule appointments and seminars

-Order investment proposals

-Follow, update and maintain office policies and procedures

-Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

Requirements

-Proficiency in MS office applications, Quicken

-Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant

-Knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines

-Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

-Attention to detail and problem solving skills

-A desire to learn new skills

-Aptitude with numbers

-String organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

-High School degree, additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary will be a plus

-The ability to learn and retain information quickly.

-Interest in learning to understand various investing proposals, stocks, mutual funds and financial profiles
