Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal needed for boutique law firm located in Palm Harbor, Florida. We are seeking a full-time, long-term new addition to our team. We mainly specialize in real estate law (quiet title, foreclosure defense, private lender foreclosure litigation, private lender loans, evictions, partitions, leases, deed preparation) as well as estate planning/probate, and other types of litigation. The perfect candidate will have experience in some or all of these fields, be a team player with a willingness to learn and expand their knowledge. Additional duties include time-entries in billing (MyCase), filing/scanning, assistance with trial binders, scheduling and coordination of hearings, depositions, and mediations, client appointments, answering telephones, some general document preparation, e-filing on the Florida portal, and assisting with whatever the team needs to ensure a successful day.
