UC Health is hiring a Pharmacist Manager for the Pharmacy Administration Department at the University of Cincinnati's Medical Center.
General: The Pharmacist Manager demonstrates leadership in pharmacy practice, through assurance and advocacy for patient and associate safety, oversight of pharmacy operations and the associates supporting, compliance with regulatory bodies, collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues and demonstration of performance using measures of quality. In representation of oneself and the organization, the Pharmacist Manager leverages techniques and skills identified as the UC Health Leadership Competencies to support the department and organization's mission, vision and values.
Specific: The Manager of Infusion Pharmacy services will provide direct leadership to all infusion center pharmacy personnel, operations, services, and performance. Practice sites to support include Barrett Cancer Center, UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute, and the new Blood Cancer Healing Center. The Manager will work collaboratively with UCMC infusion center leadership, interprofessional teams and services, and the broad UCMC pharmacy leadership to execute the services required to provide world-class care to patients.

Education: Bachelor's Degree - Pharmacy. Preferred: PharmD; Masters Degree in Pharmacy, MBA or MHA.
License and Certification: Required: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio. Preferred: Certification: Board of Pharmaceutical specialties certification is preferred for specialty areas of practice.
Years of Experience: Required: 2 years of pharmacy leadership experience.
