Summer camp instructor; small groups, fantastic facility

Our kids love horses and summer camp. Join a small team offering an educational and fun program to 12 kids per week during six weeks of summer. We are looking for an experienced child educator who is comfortable around horses, but in-depth knowledge is not required.

You will teach basic horse knowledge, arts and crafts, and other non-riding activities for 5 hours per day in groups of 4-12 campers. You will be paid for preparing your lesson plans with our help in the spring, using our existing program as a start.

Our summer program has been a favorite in the local area for 14 years, with many kids starting at age 7 and returning year after year until they leave us for college. We have a spectacular hilltop property, great ponies and horses, outstanding riding instructors, and a well-managed, safe program. This is an opportunity to work with very happy kids doing something they love, as part of a great team.

Six weeks from July 1 through August 9.

9:00 a.m. to 2 or 3 pm M-F

$25/hr plus allowance for lesson plan / materials update in the spring
