Construction Technician

Now hiring: General LaborersJob DescriptionOur company is a general contractor based in Waterloo, specializing in commercial construction, primarily new construction. Our projects often include smaller construction sites such as fast food chains and small office builds. We are in search of individuals who are eager to learn and develop skills in carpentry. Our laborers are involved in various tasks such as self-performing work, steel stud framing, wood carpentry, and concrete work. They are also responsible for hanging and hardware doors, gaining a good knowledge of layouts and how interior finishes tie together, cutting boards with circular saws, and utilizing math and calculations.Compensation-$15-$25/hr-Weekly pay-Dental-Vision-401k-Long term growthSkills & Qualifications

1 Year construction experience (commercial or residential)

Ability to Lift 50 lbs.

Valid drivers license with transportation

Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time (3 hour radius, meet at the shop)

Basic understanding of math

Hand tool experience/ability to read tape measure

6+ months of job tenure
