Senior Accountant - Temporary

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team for a temporary position that could extend to 6-8 weeks or potentially longer. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in a dynamic work environment.

Job Details:

- Position: Temporary Senior Accountant

- Duration: 6-8 weeks (potential for extension)

- Hours: Full-time, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

- Handle various accounting entries related to premiums, investments, DAC, policy acquisition costs, bank reconciliations, and premium tax returns.

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- CPA certification preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on insurance accounting (property/casualty) preferred.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
