Chubbies Burgers is one of Hawaii’s most top-rated burger spots and has been in business nearly 8 years. We are looking to grow our marketing department with a dedicated part-time role for a driven marketing expert!

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and collaborative individual to join our team.

This is a new position. We are looking for a part-time person to begin the role 2-3 days per week at our corporate office location next to our restaurant in Kaimuki.

We would expect this person to be on-site and able to work closely with the owner and operations team. Some remote work available as the position grows and trust is built over time.

This is a small business position and we really need a versatile person that is able to be cross-functional. While the priority is marketing, things will surely dip into design, branding, PR, communications, advertisement. This position can certainly grow into a legitimate career with great benefits if you stick with the company through our expansion.

General Responsibilities:

- Oversee all marketing of the Chubbies Burgers brand, as the company expands into new markets and revenue streams.

- Develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with business goals.

- Organize and maintain consistency of our brand style across all marketing platforms.

- Work with the owner to understand business goals and concepts. Translate and develop those ideas into streamlined systems for marketing efficiencies.

- Drive the Chubbies marketing efforts to maximize brand awareness and reputation.

- Consult with and advise ownership on general design and branding styles.

- Monitor industry trends and make recommendations for new marketing strategies.

- Coordinate with management and operations team to execute marketing initiatives.

Anticipated Tasks:

- Create and manage content for website, social media, email campaigns, google and yelp, and other marketing channels.

- Oversee daily social media posting and engagement. Good mix of customer facing product and behind the scenes content.

- Personally create and post thoughtful social media content.

- Oversee, coordinate and collaborate with existing social media manager for content creation and posting.

- Outsource content creation on special projects as needed.

- Distribute to multiple platforms with the goal of driving customer engagement and brand awareness.

- Plan and assist with special content creation: such as photo shoots, video shoots, menu photos.

- Coordinate and oversee editorial marketing (magazine photo shoots or news video shoots). Meet with 3rd party companies and ensure brand quality and communication.

- Influencer outreach and oversight: meet with, plan, and coordinate content posted via 3rd party channels of relevant influencers.

- Plan special events or promotions/discounts. Prepare any digital or physical materials.

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences. Put out surveys and look into customer analytics.

- Analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for operations improvement.

- Publish updates to business hours on all online channels for holidays or special changes. Publish updates to phone/voicemail system. Post signage for special hours or events as needed.

- Manage merchandise development: communicate with any designers and production teams for various merchandise runs. Oversee launching and distribution.

- Assist in designing and updating restaurant menus as directed.

- Oversee branding on special order printed materials (disposable cups, bags, wax paper, etc).

- Oversee any paid print or digital advertisements.

- Oversee customer loyalty programs.

- Create and send out promotional emails weekly.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in marketing field with an official role, OR a degree in marketing, communications, or related field

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with marketing tools and software

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
