We are seeking an Auto Body Technician to join a body shop team. In this position, you repair collision, and other damage done to the body of vehicles. Candidates must have experience, tools and certification, You must have good manual dexterity and physical stamina for this job. 4

Compensation plan: Full Time / Permanent Position, $25 - $35 per hour DOE

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance. 401K contribution, 7 day Vacation After first year, 5 float days per year. Continuing education with the leading Vocational training schools.

Responsibilities:

Read a Repair order

Maintain I-Car Platinum Standing (shop encouraged and supported)

Thoroughly Blueprint the vehicle damages

Maintain and use PPE as needed for safety

Proper care of shop tools

Can properly use body filler and ensure a quality repair

Able to remove damaged parts using power tools

Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment

Straighten bent automobile frames using frame machine

Use electronic measuring system

Make cosmetic repairs

Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity

Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception

Lifting a Minimum of 50 LBS
