Job DescriptionWhich team is hiring? Customer Operations and Support ( COPS)– Business OperationsThe COPS team within Health Applications & Infrastructure steers the ship and is responsible for checks and balances of the business, as well as complex and executive initiative programs. We glean strategic oversight from our EVP and take this knowledge to drive and deliver results for the business. We do this by partnering with any team required within Oracle to deliver results. We have a large span; but let’s focus on this role.We need a someone that can take ideas from vision to implementation to constantly working on how we improve on what we are doing in the Customer Operations and Support org.Manage people for product development programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process, and into a finished state for external customers. Plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area preferred. Prefer seven years of project management, product design or related experience.What are we looking for? Within this role, you will be responsible for managing complex, cross- organizational/functional programs that impact both product and business at Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure with a focus on continuous engineering efficiency & managing overall spend across the organization . You understand what, why and how we need to communicate to our org and ensure we are creating a culture that continues to grow and evolve. This leader will create a cohesive plan to engage team for the health and growth for the entirety of our organization.You will partner with every team in Oracle to make these programs happen. The space is fun, large, cross cutting and complex -and new. You will manage the development and implementation process for all aspects of interdepartmental delivery, plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. We work on true critical programs and that means support, help, partnership and alignment in the investment.ResponsibilitiesSKILLS NEEDED

10+ years’ experience developing and implementing strategy, then executing against, large (really – massive) cross cutting programs.

Managed people indirectly for this length of time to deliver your results, and directly for 8+ years. You know how to build high performing teams.

Demonstrated the ability to drive continuous engineering efficiency.

Managed overall spend across an organization.

Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.

Possess a technology background that enables you to understand the complexities of the sophisticated architecture of Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure.

Possess and exemplify maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

Work well with senior leaders within all of Oracle (from engineering to business) to drive results for core business initiatives.

Work well in ambiguity, can work with your team to dive into a problem and create a solution.

Operate with integrity, and a passion to work on problems that make the world a better place.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
