Qualifications
Current MO Aesthetician license required
High School diploma or GED required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
General knowledge of computer operation
Must be able to enter data into patient’s chart accurately
Ability to write correspondence both medically related and otherwise
Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, including patients and other employees of the organization
Ability to be an effective communicator
Ability to apply common sense to understanding and carrying out detailed written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems including making fast, responsible decisions about patient care, including when to involve another health care provider
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear and see
It is essential to have a working knowledge of good body mechanics
Responsibilities
The Aesthetician administers professional facial services and other select body treatments to our clients
They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent customer service skills, excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, and be willing to promote our products and have successful retail sales skills
Welcome clients and explain our list of products and services
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training clients in these areas
Provide services including, but not limited to facials, extractions, peels, microdermabrasion and waxing
Conduct pre and/or post treatment consultations for clients with problem areas, advising how best to care for their skin
Suggest various upgrades and/or products to clients to enhance their experience and ensure satisfaction. Sales is an essential and required part of the job
Cultivate a clientele of repeat customers by providing excellent services
Participate in advertising and marketing campaigns, suggesting creative ideas
Actively promote the spa, services and products, promotions and/or discounts when available
Work with clinic staff to ensure accurate and timely revenue capture
Manage schedule to ensure full patient load, with flexibility to meet client needs
Help train new staff members with less experience, when necessary
Accurately input data and maintain updated records
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or clients that require attention
Participating in cleanliness and the organization of supplies/products and exam rooms including cleaning and sterilizing instruments
Being a team player with all staff and assisting where needed
Benefits
Pay: From $14.00 per hour plus commission
Expected hours: 20-36 hours per week
