SCE’s eMobility team is responsible for the launch and execution of the largest EV charging infrastructure programs in the nation with a transportation electrification (TE) program portfolio of over $1 Billion. As an Advisor , you will be responsible for TE program controls, including tracking and analyzing program balancing accounts and modeling scenarios to meet program targets and compliance metrics.As an Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone. Developing models to perform complex data gathering and analyses in support of departmental decision-making

Supporting external compliance reporting and auditing activities for all TE programs

Managing internal project reporting, including developing and tracking balancing account budgets and forecasts, goals & KPIs

Reviewing program financial and operational performance metrics with project managers to support the management of their respective programs

Supporting regulatory filings, workpaper development, and data request responses

Identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements

Providing analytical support to strategic initiatives within eMobility team

The essentials

Seven (7) or more years of experience with quantitative and/or financial and regulatory accounting, analysis, and reporting

Proficiency using SAP or similar enterprise-wide system

Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Access

The preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance or other quantitative field of study

CPA, Project Management, or other similar certifications

Experience using SAP ECC or BEx Analyzer

Working knowledge of utility/regulatory finance, accounting, and budgeting practices

Experience with customer-facing programs or projects

Experience in complex problem solving and critical thinking

Strong oral and written communication skills

Organized, strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively engage in continuous learning

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
