JOB TITLE: Quality Control Manager

LOCATION: Billings, MT

STATUS: Hourly

Objective: Position represents company at a project quality control level from all aspects. Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers, associates and employees. Show honest and ethical behavior in all business relationships and transactions. Assist project manager in preparing thorough and timely estimates for assigned projects, written proposals and correspondence, contract administration, reports, oversight, and support of project construction as well as all negotiations and relations with owners / agency representatives.

Essential Functions:

Review and process construction submittals, shop drawings, quality control reports, requests for information, change orders, subcontractor payments, and project cost analysis for assigned projects.

Assist project managers in all aspects of assigned projects.

Ensure quality control standards on assigned projects are compliant with standards set by owner, agency, or regulatory body.

Assure compliance with project specifications and customer satisfaction.

Assist project manager in maintaining all required contract documents.

Assist in the management of all communications and submittals to agency/owner. Serve as liaison with government regulatory agencies.

Assist in the coordination with foremen and superintendents on projects.

Attend weekly manager and superintendent meetings.

Organization of construction schedule, supply of materials and delivery methods.

Establish and maintain relationships with owner / agency.

Assist project managers in Issuing pay estimates and project invoices and assist in collection of all payments due on assigned projects.

Work under pressure in a high productive environment.

Willing to travel to various locations as projects warrant.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Demonstrated decision making skills.

Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Maintain ability to work in high production environment.

Excellent leadership skills.

Excellent supervisory communication, and organizational skills.

Accuracy at all times.

Proficiency with MS Office Applications

Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
