Sales Operations Analyst

Overview As the Sales Operations Analyst , you will be responsible for validating that fully executed contracts are in place and information is complete and accurate before recognizing a sale. You will also be responsible for uploading the budget to our ERP system and making any adjustments as the project transfers from Sales to Operations. Additionally , you will conduct monthly audits to ensure data accuracy. You will also be helping in a variety of other projects including data analysis, system improvements and more. Validate that contracts have been fully executed and CRM system data is accurate before moving contract to closed won

Uploading budget (REV0) and setting orders in the accounting system (Vista) to issue a job number for operations

Upload the initial budget from Project Management (REV1) once project moves to Ops.

Journal entry preparation.

Conduct monthly reconciliation to support sales recognition .

Various administrative and office support duties

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Minimum three years’ experience in accountanting

Strong understanding of accounting principles, and familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. ERP systems) as well as Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting .

Capacity to identify and resolve accounting issues, reconcile discrepancies, and propose solutions to improve processes.

Accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping and analysis are essential to ensure compliance and provide reliable financial information.

Demonstrated ability to solve problems, highly organized and detailed oriented.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment .

Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders such as project managers, sales, client management and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred

Job/Project accounting experience preferred

Vista by Viewpoint experience preferred

Experience in construction industry
