Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We're partnering with a prominent non-profit organization on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Here’s what you'd be up to:Responsibilities:

Checking, processing, and reconciling invoices and purchase orders, making sure everything is in line.

Ensuring payments are made on time—every time!

Using Sage Intacct for your daily tasks and keeping our financial files neat and tidy.

Sorting out any issues regarding purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments.

Keeping an eye on any due invoices, and reminding any forgetful payers.

Updating financial transactions regularly, keeping them neat and organized.

Building and maintaining good relationships with our vendors.

Pulling together financial reports, collecting and analyzing account info.

Lending a hand with audits, financial planning, and keeping an eye on our budget.

Working well with others to help our organization reach its goals.

Requirements

A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or something similar.

Some previous experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Solid knowledge of Sage Intacct software.

Good at using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

You're really good with numbers, and have a keen eye for details.

You're great at getting your point across and can build solid relationships with vendors.

You can work well on your own, but also love being part of a team.

You're accurate, efficient, and reliable.
