Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Manager that is focused, eager, and experienced for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Requirements
Degree in Accounting
CPA required
8-10 years progressive accounting, preferable started in Big 4 public accouting
Supervision experience, assertive communication
Strong US GAAP & SOX knowledge
ASC 842, needs to be well versed
