Construction Project Manager- Large 8 unit apartment building Remodel

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the complete interior/exterior remodel of an 8 unit apartment building located in West LA. The individual will need thorough experience with

- Developing project plans, including defining goals, objectives, deliverables, and timelines

- Working with the city planning department, inspectors, and plan checkers.

- Managing multiple different construction trades at once ( electrical, plumbing, drywall, wood floors, and more)

- Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary

- Identifying and managing project risks and issues

- Conducting regular project status meetings and providing updates to owners

- Ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline

- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Extensive experience with construction and construction organization/management

- Proficiency in construction management software suchBuildertrend

- Experience in project scheduling and resource allocation

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with owners at all levels

- Ability to understand how long each element of construction should take to complete

- General contractor license a plus but not required.
