SXSW Unarmed and Armed Security Guards NEEDED ASAP!

Unarmed and Armed Security Guards NEEDED! Starting at $17hr for unarmed guards, $20hr for armed guards (Austin, Pflugerville, RR, Hutto and surrounding areas)

Seraphim Security and Staffing Services #B07291901, is seeking part time UNARMED and ARMED Security Guards for the following shifts:

1. EVERY Thursday from 7P-1230A, Friday - Saturday from 8P-230A. CASINO STYLE GAME LOUNGE (PT) 18.5hrs weekly - Starts 2/1 ARMED ONLY. $20hr

2. SXSW AND EVENT assignments - Unarmed guards will be hired to work multiple locations during SXSW and other events throughout the year. $17hr

We offer a competitive and attractive pay starting at $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

UNARMED GUARDS:

Provide crowd control and deterrence, when needed.

Presence at assigned posts.

Bag check at entrance and TABC rules at exit.

General concert and special events guidelines.

Display good customer service.

ARMED GUARDS:

Conduct hourly patrol of building inside and out.

Show security presence at entrance.

Walk guest to their vehicles, if needed.

Provide crowd control when needed.

Display good customer service.

Requirements:

Minimum 18 years of age. Security experience preferred;

MUST BE LICENSED! Possess Level II and Level III - card in hand;

Clean background;

Effective verbal communication skills;

Able to stand and walk entire shift;

Must possess a smart phone for scheduling app;

Handle all issues/situations in a calm and professional manner;

Use sound judgment and critical thinking when making decisions;

Display courteous and situationally appropriate behavior.
