Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Facilitates smooth operations of a patient service area by providing clerical support for healthcare team members, patients, and families on an inpatient unit.Position Requirements:Minimum Education:Required: High School DiplomaPreferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education Minimum Experience:Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Position Responsibilities:COMMUNICATION - Facilitates communication with and between staff members, patients, and family members to ensure that information related to patient conditions and concerns is relayed in a timely manner.ORDERING/INVENTORY - Inventories supplies and orders basic floor stock, computer supplies and drugs to ensure uninterrupted operation of unit.
