Mortgage Lender - Support

Description Robert Half is assisting a reputable housing organization with the search for a qualified Mortage Lending Assistant. This opportunity is a contract-to-hire role in Frankfort, KY. In this position you will address customer inquiries regarding single-family mortgage loans, including loan requirements, status updates, and specific transactions. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and written communication, handling complex loan servicing questions and confidential information.

Process various transactions such as loan assumptions, partial releases, and cancellations.

Prepare payoff quotes, verification documents, and loan activity statements.

Assist with administrative tasks including document scanning and data entry.

Review rental applications and provide support for departmental processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

Familiarity with federal housing programs, mortgage laws, and regulations. (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

1-3 years of related experience in a professional office environment.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
