The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating competitive intelligence to drive superior market performance.Responsibilities include:

Monitor competitor activity:

Track competitor news, product launches, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and social media presence.

Utilize market research tools and databases to gather relevant data.

Identify competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).

Analyze competitive data:

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of competitor data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Develop competitive benchmarks and market share analysis.

Create compelling reports and presentations that communicate findings clearly and concisely.

Disseminate insights:

Share competitive intelligence with internal stakeholders including marketing, product, sales, and leadership teams.

Translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing strategies, product development, and pricing decisions.

Participate in cross-functional projects where competitive intelligence is crucial.

Stay informed:

Actively follow industry news, trends, and thought leaders to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business intelligence, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or equivalent work experience.

Experience in the IT industry

Knowledge of marketing research methodologies and quantitative analysis techniques

Experience with competitive intelligence software or tools

Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw actionable insights.

Excellent research capabilities, utilizing a variety of sources to gather relevant data.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
