Sous Chef- Westwind

Experienced Sous Chef position available for immediate start!

Westwind Orchard is a family owned farm, orchard & restaurant located in Accord, NY. We serve Farm to table, seasonal, Authentic Italian. We were voted one of the best farm to table restaurants in the country for a reason. Use only the freshest ingredients for our menu. From our produce, vinegars, honey, maple syrup, jams.

This position is for a person who is looking to go to the next level, work under the executive chef with many opportunities to learn and develop skill set. Full-Time Position is available.

Requirements:

· Knife skills

· Ability to communicate with kitchen staff, wait staff and office personnel in a courteous, professional manner

· Works well under pressure, calm and enthusiastic.

Duties include:

· Executing new menu items

· Maintain proper food hygiene and food storage.

· Quality preparation of all menu items

· Personally take part in maintaining standards of a clean kitchen

· Maintain professional appearance

· Flexible schedule - available to work all shifts including weekends and holiday weekends.

Years Experience: 1 - 3 years

Weekend availability is a must.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour dependent on experience
