Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.Work You'll do/Responsibilities:

Extensive knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, network protocols and file systems. Knowlege of Window servers.

Familiarity with multiple information technologies that include operating systems, server virtualization, cloud based infrastructure, automation, and middleware with expertise in several of the technologies, including RedHat/CentOS Linux, Solaris, VMWare, X86 hardware and AWS.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in UNIX environment; EMC storage array based SAN environment.

Capable of monitoring systems performance, disk usage, file systems, and devices.

Shell scripting and/or Perl scripting experience.

Experienced with TCP/IP and other networking protocols. Familiarity with wired and wireless networking hardware and architectures.

Familiarity with Virtual LAN (VLAN) setup and configuration, Virtual Private Networks, routing, IPV4, IPV6, etc.

System level support for Oracle application and database Servers, Java application servers, Websphere or other large-scale databases in a UNIX environment.

Proficient in user account management.

Ability to analyze and research problem independently, ability to explain complex solutions and mentor, excellent problem solving and communication skills, good technical writing and documentation skills, all required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a technical support role for software applications.

Profound knowledge of Oracle with the ability to efficiently utilize Oracle tools to handle data and control privileges.

Proven proficiency in Scripting, with a solid understanding of script writing, tuning and optimization.

Experience with Oracle, Middleware, Unix support including managing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot complex software systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of end users and technical resources.
