Personal Injury - Associate Attorney

Law Offices of Hirji & Chau, LLP is law firm based in Culver City that focuses on educational, civil and disability rights of children and disabled adults. Our practice encompasses all levels of advocacy and litigation, and is staffed by reputable attorneys who work collaboratively to provide holistic services.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience in personal injury litigation for a full-time associate attorney position.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil litigation in state and federal court

All aspects of personal injury litigation including intake, case evaluation, pleadings, law and motion, discovery, mediation, trials and appeals

Requirements

Admittance to the State Bar of California

1-4 years’ experience with personal injury litigation

Excellent research and writing skills, with a strong academic background

Strong interpersonal communication and client counsel skills

Demonstrated ability to work positively and cooperatively with other team members

Ability to work long hours & weekends, as needed, to meet deadlines

Proficient understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Government Torts/Public Entity liability is preferred

Spanish speaking a plus
