Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Test & Evaluation Technical Services Specialist as part of Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) to join our team in Seattle, WA (South Park Site).The MATES organization focuses on optimizing the quality, quantity, & composition of Boeing assets, and works across the enterprise to ensure business partners and programs have the equipment needed for engineering test and air vehicle programs. This role will perform Test Asset Management (TAM) operations, partnering with the metrology labs to ensure that the test engineers, technicians, and mechanics have the Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) when needed. The TAM team are operations support to MATES as a frontline team “tip of the spear” (A person or group that is the first to do something considered difficult), embedded in labs & hold areas supporting the M&TE shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory, asset check-in/out, storage & surplus operations, flight test operations, and sourcing & ordering operations for the enterprise.The position will require the selected candidate to be a self-motivated, independent team player and able to create and follow detailed process instructions. In addition, this position will require support within our alternate Puget Sound work locations.Position Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to plan product testing, test support requirements and acquire equipment, test materials, fixtures, articles and vehicles

Receive equipment and update status in applicable systems, pack/unpack, and stage equipment for movement

Maintain test documentation that supports regulatory requirements

Support the optimization of inventory/asset certification, storage, tracking, and utilization for TAM business partners & customers, and ensure equipment readiness and continuity of enterprise test operations

Support asset record and location management in Strategic Inventory Management Online (SIMON), and perform Common Metrology Information System (CMIS) asset record update

Prepare equipment & documents for shipping by Boeing Transportation & commercial carrier

Move assets and material between labs, air vehicles, shipping docks, etc.

Provide customer first support working with business partners equipment needs

Investigate & resolve lost, damaged, or misdirected M&TE sent to and from Metrology labs

Perform Data integrity reviews of the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data as it's maintained over time

Support Business Process Guide (BPG) and TAM training & command media review & updates

Support any of the TAM operating areas and operations factory TAM locations

Overtime may be required up to 10% of the time

Work under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience in test asset or metrology

Experience in data entry

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Willing and able to work overtime if needed

Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Technical/Technology degree in the areas of math, science, engineering, metrology

Knowledge of calibrated M&TE assets used in engineering test, measurement, and production

Experience in project management

Experience in inventory management

Knowledge of export and dangerous goods shipping requirements

Knowledge of aerospace industry

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
