Entry- to Mid-level Geologists/Hydrogeologists

HydroSource Associates, P.C. is a hydrogeologic consulting and groundwater exploration and development firm based in Meredith, New Hampshire. We are currently conducting numerous projects within the eastern United States and are accepting applications for Entry- to Mid-level Geologists/Hydrogeologists.

Key Work Assignments/Duties/Responsibilities include:

Hydrogeologic/geologic investigations in a wide variety of geologic settings (glaciated, piedmont, karst, coastal plain, etc.)

Field work, data collection, and in-office analysis of data and information

Geologic mapping

Remote sensing/lineament analysis

GIS database creation and management, and map/graphics generation

Geophysical surveying

Water well and test boring logging and installation observation

Pumping test supervision

Water quality sampling and analysis

Ability to work on and potentially manage multiple projects simultaneously

Coordination and supervision of various subcontractors

Prepare reports, plans, proposals, and schedules

This position includes field work that may involve hiking, climbing, lifting and other occasionally strenuous activities, sometimes in inclement weather.

Travel within the US required, with possible overseas assignments, if willing.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrology or Earth Science. Previous experience a plus, but will train. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
