Landscaping foreman

Duties & Responsibilities:

As the project foreman you are responsible to ensure that the workers follow tasks set out for each project.

Ability to lead by example regarding safety, day to day operations, dealing with the owners, consultants, and the clients.

Run all aspects of a landscape construction project

Clear communication with the office daily, able to work with established computer systems and apps that track projects, timesheets and estimates

Handle material schedules

Labor - guide and manage a crew to install landscape projects efficiently

Produce high quality work

Complete projects in estimated hours

Complete jobs using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Trained and able to handle required power tools, tampers, cut-off saws

Excavation equipment: skid steer, and excavator

Complete all assigned work safely and effectively

Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and complete minor maintenance as required

Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and coworkers

Participate in all training and performance reviews required by the Company

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials

Pursue ongoing education sponsored by the Company as required

Qualifications:

At least three years experience as a landscape foreman

Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team

Extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques

Proficient in operating landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems

Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise on the job

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

Valid driver's license
