We are a commercial HVAC company looking for an energetic, enthusiastic full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper. Must be very familiar with QuickBooks and able to learn our in-house software. Overall computer proficiency is a must, especially with Excel, Word and accounting software. Diligence, dedication, integrity, and initiative will take you far in this role. Top notch grammar, spelling and professional communication skills required.

Duties:

1. Ensure accuracy of all vendor invoices, research discrepancies, code accurately, post, keep organized files in constant balance with QuickBooks, run check runs, file all paid invoices while keeping files tidy and in order.

2. Submit and follow up on warranty credits

3. Prepare customer billing, review technician language and edit where necessary, ensure coding accuracy, send timely emailed invoices to customers, follow up with overdue notices.

4. Process and post customer payments, collect receivables, prepare bank deposits.

5. Remit sales taxes.

6. Reconcile bank and petty cash accounts.

7. Other staff accountant duties as assigned.

8. Miscellaneous clerical work, backup reception, filing.

9. Special projects as assigned.

Salary range for initial hiring is 50,000.00 to 60,000.00 dependent on skill level and proficiency. Raises are performance based, and given annually based on job performance.
