Junior Designer, part time

Johnston Home Interior Design is growing and we are on the lookout for a talented junior designer to join our team. We specialize in residential remodels and new construction. The ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn, a collaborative approach, an eye for detail, and a sense of humor for this challenging business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with Principal to manage ongoing projects

Draft construction documents

Prepare client budgets

Create Power Point presentations

Document specifications in Studio Designer

Research construction materials and furnishings

Maintain client binders

Filing and organization of materials

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors

Proficient in AutoCad, Excel, and Power Point

Knowledge of Studio Designer a plus

Drivers license and car

Be able to work with sleepy dog in office

Job Type: Part time

Work Location: Menlo Park and Hybrid

Pay: Dependent on hours and experience
