Welders notice

This message is written for any welders out there! I’m not the type of person to have ever written a complaint like this and I’ll keep it professional but I just want to maybe save others their time. There’s an ad on here for a temporary welding position in Plainfield, Connecticut through a company named capital industrial group and the man I spoke with his name is Steve. I messaged him to inquire of this job and sent him my resume. The message I got back was meet at this location if you’re interested (a nearby restaurant for 11am this Monday). I tried to call him to let him know that I was not local (job is andvertised ans 4-12”s and per diem available) and to ask a few questions that I left in his voicemail, wasn’t returned a call. So my fault I did as I was told and I drove 6hrs one way the night before from northern Maine and got a hotel so I would be able to meet when I was told the next morning. At 930 am an hour before we were supposed to meet I get a text saying meetup is rescheduled for Friday. I called Steve and was professional about it and he said to me he felt terrible and to download what’s app so we could do a video call interview in an hour. So I waited around downloaded the app, no call. I waited around until I lost patience and made the six hour drive back home. I called him and texted him later with no response! So fellow welders hopefully my story will save you from wasting your time! And hope you read this message also Steve! I guess Maine people have a little more respect than you.
