System level coordination of engine requirements and verification planning with multi-disciplinary teams

Long term responsibilities within the systems integration team are to design and develop Jet Engine and Flight Control Systems of Commercial and or Military engine programs including:

Control system analysis to support requirements development/verification.

Requirements Management and Allocation

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 9 or more years of experience in mechanical design engineering. Deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage technical aspects of the project. Ability to provide technical leadership and direction to the design engineering team. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Good organizational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in engine/aircraft system design.

Working knowledge of fuel system components like valves, pumps and nozzles.

Experience leveraging strong communication skills.

Experience with electrical, electronic, and sensing components and subsystems.

Experience in Engine Control Systems

Demonstrated experience with Model Based Design Tools & Practices

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
