Cook needed at local wine bar
We are seeking a part-time (approx. 25-30 hours/week) cook to join our team at The Classy Cork Wine Room! You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Prepare/Prep all served food
Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well with others
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for an 8-hourshift
Will require to obtain Harris Co. Food Handlers Certification and/or Food Manager Certification
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
