Makana North Shore Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care Clinic in Princeville, HI.

Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities include:

· Telephone and in-person triage (for symptom management)

· Assist with management of urgent and emergent patient care situations

· Review and act on test results (lab, x-ray)

· Initiate and monitor intravenous (IV) infusions

· Assist or perform procedures (e.g. ECGs, dressing changes, subcutaneous or intramuscular injections, splinting, etc.)

· Coordinate and monitor the provision of medical services.

· Assist providers with direct patient care.

· Triage walk-in and call-in clients as appropriate for patient care and safety.

· Keep patients' records; complete appropriate forms and reports. Provide appropriate documentation.

· Adhere to patient confidentiality (HIPAA).

· Observe signs and symptoms, document and report reactions of the treatment to the provider.

· Provide patient education

· Execute delegation protocols

· Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

· Serve as a mentor and resource to others

· Assist with the management of patients with multiple chronic health conditions, acute episodes of care, behavioral health challenges while promoting and supporting prevention and wellness

· Other duties as assigned

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
