Reporting to the Director of Sales, this leadership position is responsible for driving the development, deployment, and successful execution of a Territory Sales Strategy aligned with the vision for the North America Sales organization, delivering sales revenues within a specified region.The Division Sales Manager at Hach ensures the development of a high performing sales organization that achieves profitable volume growth and captures market share while ensuring the execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). In this role, you will drive both in-person and virtual customer interactions to build funnel, promote new logo prospecting, existing customer account management, and new project pursuit.Territory: The specific region this role will cover includes: North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa.Travel: DSMs are usually on the road visiting customers at a minimum Tue-Thur. The division sales manager will be traveling as they can with scheduling on those regional sales managers. The expectation is 75% of the time in territory traveling with their sellers.What will I do in this role?Provide leadership and direction to a team of 5-8 municipal and industrial front line sellers and inside sellers. Develop talent through coaching, training, and mentoring.Develop a collaborative territory sales strategy that drives profitable volume growth of Hach’s products and services.Drive performance accountability through use of performance management tools. Achieve assigned financial and strategic objectives.Proactively support change management, problem resolution and continuous improvement, serving as a role model for innovation and transformationUtilize standard work and Monthly Forecast and Funnel Review process to execute territory growth strategy.Develop Annual Sales Plans and Growth Bridges aligned with Hach, Strategic Initiatives deployed to Territory Level with clear Results Targets and Action Plans for each Sales Representative.Participate in Key Account Reviews as appropriate; establish and maintain relationships with key customers in the Division, facilitating team efforts to maximize opportunities.Establish and maintain relationships with engineering firms and other accounts that indirectly influence the buying decisions of the customer.Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review.What makes this opportunity exciting?

Are you qualified?

BA, BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5 years of progressive sales experience within the water industry to include holding field/inside sales individual contributor and field/inside sales leadership roles within the municipal and industrial markets.

Formal sales training is preferred with strong preference given to exposure to value selling concepts and training in Question Based Selling, Sandler, and other sales methodologies.

Strong sales operational background leveraging CRM (salesforce.com).
