Group Leader - Production Maintenance Electrical

Group Leader - Production Maintenance Electrical sought by Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Joplin, MO.Position Duties: Ensure the reliability of production equipment (Forging, Turning, Grinding and assembly machines) to optimize uptime. Support facility and corporate goals through maintaining machine and building life cycle as well as leading electrical department employees and supporting their personal development. Responsible for machine life cycle, including requirement specification review for production equipment during investment process; purchasing and installation of production equipment; maintenance of production equipment; maintenance strategies including predictive, preventative and condition monitoring; technical availability; manufacturing sustainability; spare parts requirements for production equipment; disposal for production equipment; and energy relevant standards and processes. Meet local and global Maintenance KPls, for example: planning rate, maintenance costs, maintenance efficiency, MTBF, MTTR. Implement department and team goals with relevant measures and trend monitoring. Lead and develop production electrical maintenance technicians. Ensure team's adherence to budget as reported in the Plant Cost Report. Manage and coordinate services provided by external companies. Ensure a Lean concept within the team through continuous improvement efforts. Support execution of regulatory and safety inspections within the scope of maintenance. Carry out risk assessments. Document and implement recommended measures. Lead the PLC machine and automation programming team. Coordinate the energy team members by following and lead energy relevant standards and processes. Maintain the schedule of legal and other relevant energy requirements. Coordinate local sustainability team and efforts between departments. Engage with sustainability committees at other locations and regions.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, as an Engineer Maintenance Production, Production Technology Engineer, or a related position. Three (3) years of experience must include: Regulatory requirements including OSHA and EPA; ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949:2016; CMMS, SAP; reviewing requirement specifications for production equipment; PLC machine programming; performing fault analysis and changes to complicated electrical controls; supporting and troubleshooting Machine Control Programs; testing, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and machine controls; vision system programming and troubleshooting; and laser marking system troubleshooting.To apply, please email resume to OR-IBC-hr-recruiting@schaeffler.com.
