Retail Bakery Work

Retail manufacturing of cakes, pastry, pies, cookies and donuts. Mix bakery products according to recipes. Roll, cut and form donuts and Danish. Proof, fry, bake and finish products. Decorate cakes and cookies. Operate mixers, ovens, stoves and other bakery equipment. Work as a team member, thru good communication, able to take directions and complete tasks in scheduled time periods.

Prepare bakery products fresh daily as directed by the Production Manager. Use quality of workmanship to meet Our Established Bakery Standards. Work early morning shift includes weekends and holidays, average 4 days, 32 hours per week. Summer and holiday seasons will require additional days and hours per week. Other scheduling may be available.

Maintain a clean working area. Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safety work practices. Maintain necessary bakery stock as required to complete tasks. Maintain bakery equipment and report to Operations Manager when professional maintenance is necessary. Speak well about company and other co-workers. Be friendly and considerate of others. Proper grooming and proper dress for a bakery environment. Drug testing as required by management.
