Stages Northwest/ Equipment Yard Associate

Job Title: Equipment Yard Associate Report To: Equipment Yard Manager

Position Overview

This position is responsible for cleaning trucks, pulling orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks, restocking inventory and equipment, and any other tasks assigned.

Essential Functions

1. Pull inventory and equipment for delivery per pull list.

2. Load company vehicles.

3. Unload company vehicles.

4. Return inventory and equipment to proper location after unloading company vehicles.

5. Keep yard/warehouse clean and organized.

Job Requirements/Skills

1. Adherence to the safety policies and procedures of the company.

2. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

3. Team player who treats co-workers, vendors, and customers with respect.

4. Ability to read and write English.

5. Ability to do basic math.

6. Current and valid driver’s license is preferred.

7. Available to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.

8. Strong oral and written communication.

Education/Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. One or more years of operating a forklift.

3. One or more years of warehousing/yard experience.

4. Prior experience with hand and power carpentry tools preferred.

5. Prior production staging/rigging preferred.

Physical Requirements

1. Requires walking, carrying, reaching, and standing.

2. Requires lifting or lowering, pushing, or pulling of weights up to 80 lbs.

3. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, and depth perception

4. Must be able to pass a drug screening.

5. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

1. Storage yard with outside weather conditions.

2. Non-heated warehouse.

3. The noise level is moderate.
