Logistics Analyst
Description Robert Half is working with a freight forwarding company who is looking to bring on a Logistics/ inventory clerk. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow within logistics/ supply chain. Overview of role:
Review orders to ensure accurate information for shipments
Bills of lading, packing slips and creation of Purchase Orders
Monitoring delivery and shipment creation, troubleshooting batch determination, packing, manual creation when needed
Monitoring and troubleshooting shipment cost
Negotiating freight costs and be able to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvement efforts
Requirements
Bachelor in International business or supply chain, preferred
Basic excel skills (sorting, filtering,etc)
QUICKBOOKS experience is a must
Bilingual- English and Spanish
