Staff Accountant

Description A local, quickly growing company in Broward is searching for a strong Staff Accountant for their corporate office. This role is key to the organization and will be rewarded with future growth for exemplary performance. This position will work on the full accounting cycle including reconciliation of bank/balance sheet accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, financial close, external audits, and ad hoc projects. A current CPA or CPA track is encouraged for this role but not required. The client is open to candidates from both public accounting and private/public company backgrounds.Ability to communicate effectively is key to this role along with a strong accounting base. Full cycle accounting experience in a small to medium sized company

BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Proficient in ERP systems

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
