Groundskeeper/Porter (Entry Level)

We are a multi-family community in East Multnomah County and we love self-starters and those wanting to be part of a dynamic and ever-growing team. Here are just some of what this position entails:

Job Description

Daily Duties - Included but not limited to:

 Pick up grounds, empty dog bins & cigarette butt cans

 Haul dumpsters to trash compactor using tractor or golf cart, empty dumpsters, clean dumpster enclosure

 Break down boxes and smash down recycle bins

 Check and dump all recycle bins and trash cans in office, gym and shop

 Empty recycle bin, sweep and remove spider webs in mail room

 Pressure wash apartments as scheduled

 Help with moving appliances as needed

 Check all building and garage lights and make up a list for repairs

 Check playground for properly working equipment and for any potential safety risks

 Make sure all walkways are clear of snow and ice (seasonally)

 Help to maintain the pool & spa (seasonally)

Weekly Duties - Included but not limited to:

· Clean restrooms, stock soap, toilet paper and paper towels, sweep, mop and vacuum clubhouse

· Blow out parking lot, stairwells and front patios

· Blow off walkways as needed

Extra Projects:

· Pressure washing in spring and fall. Curbs, siding, patios, decks, etc

· Curb painting

· Minor maintenance and painting on occasion

· Open and close building vents in spring and fall

General:

· Maintain the highest standards as established by ICM Resources, Inc.

· Assist team effort in any way possible

· Act responsible and in the best interest of the property

Qualifications:

· Must be self-motivated, reliable, and punctual

· Must have high school diploma or equivalent

· Must have driver’s license and current insurance

HOURS: TUESDAY - FRIDAY (8:30 AM TO 5:30 PM) & SATURDAY (8:30 AM TO 2:30 PM)

Salary: $17 PER HOUR (DOE)
