This company manufactures and distributes envelopes. They operate multiple machines that can make up to 1 million envelopes a day.
Job Summary:
Machine Operator & Packer – Dallas, Texas
$16.00 per hour, weekly pay
Monday-Friday 10:30pm-6:30am
Essential Functions:
Operates automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machine to produce finished product in a team environment.
Inspects quality of envelopes and reports variances to adjusters or supervisor.
Checks current production order/schedules to determine daily production requirements and packs the required envelopes accordingly.
Sets up and adjusts envelope folding machines for safe and efficient operation in the production process.
This includes the startup, operation, adjustment to proper parameters involving close tolerances, maintenance, trouble shooting, and cleaning the equipment.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
General Warehouse experience
Mechanically inclined
Machine Operating experience
Work Environment:
Non-Climate control warehouse.
