CNC Machine Operator

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operators to contribute to a manufacturing company located in Mount Prospect, IL.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.

Load and unload raw materials and finished products.

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.

Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code a plus.

Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a CNC machine operation or related technical program is a plus.

Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Pay:

$18 - $20+/hr + (based on experience)
