Description:Aerotek's client is looking for experienced handyman and maintenance technicians to join the facilities team in NW Washington, DC. We are looking for individuals dedicated to the craft who can solve problems individually and coordinate with others to complete more complex tasks.Responsibilities:

Perform general tasks such as repairing and replacing appliances, furniture, equipment, and fixtures.

Evaluate furniture repairs and action needed to satisfy our customers.

Conduct routine inspections to identify needs and address them promptly.

Fabricate and install various components as needed.

Ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to high standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Respond to task requests from tenants in a timely manner.

Collaborate with other departments or contractors to ensure smooth operations and resolve maintenance issues.

Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively. Good communication skills to interact with customers or tenants in a professional and customer service-oriented manner. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) software for communication and tracking maintenance activities.
