Microsoft Teams is looking to hire a Principal Product Manager leading Mobile.This role will help define the strategy for Microsoft Teams in Mobile for the Commercial audience, creating mechanisms for coherence across other verticals, partner teams, and our desktop clients. We are looking for product managers with a focus on high-craft mobile experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring that the product we are developing meets, and exceeds, the needs of customers and internal teams alike. Shape and execute a multi-year vision, strategy, and execution plan for Teams Mobile.

Manage cross-functional partnerships and relationships with engineering, design, and research to establish a shared strategic framework, technical vision, plans, and roadmap.

Champion core mobile investments and create robust surfaces for a coherent end-to-end experience wherever someone uses Teams.

Lead key partnerships with a diverse set of teams and organizations to ensure the best Teams experience for customers.

Envision and design experiences that delight customers, authoring detailed, crisp requirements and user stories for these experiences.

Engage with customers, both directly and indirectly, in formal and informal settings to connect with them and understand their needs.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

Experience launching user-facing products.

Experience mentoring team members and peers in product management.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer-focused with a track record of shipping innovative, user-friendly features.

Experience in cross-team collaboration with experience managing complex projects and many partners.

Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

Experience using critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to leadership and other stakeholders.

Design thinking and solid understanding of user experience possibilities.

Experience making data-driven decisions.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
