You will work deeply with various segments of customers to identify their unique and fast evolving requirements and distil them for the engineering teams. You will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure customers have a seamless end-to-end experience. You will leverage your knowledge of the HPC domain to identify trends, and guide product roadmap. You will representAzure Storage platform by presenting at public forums and community events.

You will partner with software, hardware, and datacenter engineering teams to design supercomputer-scale storage to meet customer mission objectives. You’ll also give key stakeholders data-driven recommendations based on identified risks.

You will define success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiple feature areas for highly complex cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across the business.

You will gather feedback, experiences, and requirements from customers to help set priorities for our product roadmap.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

3+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

3+ years in designing and implementing High Performance Computing (HPC) applications in supercomputing architectures.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience.

5+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

5+ years implementing HPC applications in supercomputing architectures.

3+ years working with HPC storage vendors to define products and delivery schedules aligned to mission objectives of leadership supercomputing programs.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
