(Detailed Job Duties)

Examine teeth, gums and related tissues to evaluate dental health and diagnose diseases, injuries and malformation of the teeth and gums. Plan appropriate treatments for patient's teeth and mouth tissue. Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures. Treat patients using dental air turbines, hand instruments, dental appliances or surgical implements.
