Small Engine Mechanic

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of small engine equipment. Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and general maintenance

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on small engine equipment

- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs

- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs

- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical issues

- Perform equipment repairs and modifications as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of small engines

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

- Experience in equipment repair is a plus

- Familiarity with electrical systems is preferred

- Previous experience working in a repair shop
