IT Director

Description

Overseeing all IT operations, including networks, systems, and data security.

Developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's overall business plan.

Identifying technological needs and recommending upgrades and improvements.

Staying updated on the latest IT trends and ensuring the infrastructure remains secure and efficient.

Leading and motivating the IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Managing IT projects effectively, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

Supervising the performance of IT staff, providing guidance and mentorship.

Liaising with other departments to understand their IT requirements and ensure their needs are met.

Presenting strategic proposals and recommendations to senior management.

Clearly communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preparing and managing IT budgets, allocating resources effectively.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to optimize IT spending.

Monitoring and evaluating IT investments to ensure they deliver a strong return on investment (ROI).

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.

Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

Oversee disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles.

Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, data management, and cloud computing.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to manage and prioritize projects effectively.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
