The Manager, Facilities Application Support oversees both project management and functional support for a range of technologies essential to the Facilities Management division. These technologies encompass applications commonly associated with an integrated workplace management system, covering maintenance management, work order management, capital project management, space management, move management, and scheduling. Major applications supported include, but not limited to, IBM Maximo, Archibus, Oracle Unifier.Additionally, the Manager is tasked with managing the development of requirements and functional design documents, conducting data profiling and analysis for troubleshooting, configuring systems, testing system changes and releases, and handling production support activities.Technology ManagementStay abreast of regulatory, technology and business trends impacting information management solutions, including the shift from on-premise to cloud solutions. Assist the Associate Director and/or Director and management team to prepare technology strategies and roadmaps to aligned workgroups and steering teams.Talent ManagementEnsure people, process and technology are in place to develop and / maintain reliable and effective technology platforms.Service Delivery / Demand ManagementEnsure clear and consistent communication within team and with other work units both inside and outside the department or division. Maintain working knowledge of customer's business processes & operations. Develop and implement system support processes that increase efficiencies and reduce delivery time to the customer.Other duties as assignedEducation Required: Bachelor's degree.Experience Required: Seven years of experience in information technology services, to include two years supervisory/management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
